They're very high quality, you can tell by the weight and feel, and are quite sturdy for something made of ceramic. The holes at the top allow for the purrfect flow of my ground salt and pepper! I LOVE them!!!

Not sure if the price fits the handmade qualities of it personally due to some of the oddities of the glaze work I noticed as not from the curing but the application. The novelty was a plus however as the inner material is what will hold up to the oxidative nature of salt.

All my food products use lead free non toxic glazes certified under the Federal EPA and California environmental protection agency.

We had to say goodbye to our kitty suddenly last spring far too young after a terminal lung cancer diagnosis and suddenly escalating side effects. At the time, it was too hard to go through picking out an urn for her beyond one of the standard options we could get for free after her cremation. Only recently could I bring myself to look at other options, and I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this shop. This is absolutely perfect and I'm so grateful she has such a special resting place. ❤️

Frequently asked questions
Is the one in the picture the one that I will be getting? I notice variations in color of the glaze. Is this defective?
All of our products are hand made and one of a kind. Dependent on the glaze and the firing, each product is slightly different than each other, but any order would resemble the stock photo very closely. Variations and speckles in the glaze are expected and shows that our products are made by hand. In the clay world, we call these variations “kissed by the kiln.” Rest assured that we hand select each product that is sent to our customers.

Damaged Orderes:
Shipping refunds are issued visa via USPS. Please save all shipping material and provide images of package and damaged goods for refund.
Incorrect Order:
If you have received the incorrect order please contact me and kindly wait up 42 hours during business hours. Monday threw Friday 10 Am to 6 PM PST. I will sort out getting the correct idem to you.
Returns:
Items that have been altered by the customer can not be returned, exchanged or refunded. Custom orders are not subject to returns.
Do you do rush shipping? Shipping Times
I don't usually do rush shipping because I am busy making :) We do our best to keep shipping times accurate. However shipping times cannot be guaranteed due to ongoing supply chain issues caused by the pandemic. If you have more questions please contact me.
Are the bowls and tumblers dishwasher safe? Can I put them in the microwave?
All tableware is dishwasher safe. All tableware is microwave safe, but some products heat up more than others- use caution when removing from microwave.
How is the urn sealed?
Keepsake urns are traditionally not sealed. The urn design is similar to a tea pot or a cookie jar; the head fits snuggly to the body of the urn. We recommend using museum putty for a non-permanent seal or 5-minute epoxy for a permanent seal.
How big is the urn? What is the inside volume?
• Cat urn dimensions 8” x 3” x 3” with an opening of 1 ¾”. Holds 16 fluid oz.
• Small dog urn dimensions 7 1/2” x 3” x 4” with an opening of 2”. Holds 16 fluid oz. Designed to contain the ashes of small to medium size dog or dogs under 30 lb
• Large dog urn dimensions 10 3/4" x 5" x 4 1/2" with an opening of 3''. Holds 44 fluid oz. Designed to contain the ashes of medium sized dogs to large sized dogs 35 lbs to 100 lbs
I have a large dog. Do you make a larger dog urns?
Large dog urns are made to order. Please contact us if you want a large dog urn in a different glaze color that is not listed on the shop.

YES we make custom orders. Custom color and paint options are available pricing is dependent on detail and material. Typical turn around time is between 6-8 weeks. Depending on order pricing is between an additional $50 +
